Volkswagen launches India webiste

New Delhi, Aug 9 (UNI) German car-maker Volkswagen today launched its new Indian website for strengthening its operations in the country.

The website contains a diverse range of product information customised to the Indian market across models such as the Passat and Touareg.

It will also provide other detailed information on Volkswagen's India offerings and will further be enhanced in line with the planned expansion of Volkswagen in the country.

''The company is looking at engaging across multiple customer touch-points in India and the website is a step in this direction to bring a strong customer focus to our Indian operation,'' company's Managing Director Andreas Prinz said while launching the new website.

The Volkswagen Group recently set up a new sales company called Volkswagen Group Sales India Private Ltd in Mumbai to focus on the Indian market.
