Guj: Two die due to snake bite in Anand

Anand, Aug 9: Two men died due to snakebites in two incidents in the district.

A 15-year-old boy, Sanjay Rajesh Rami, of Jahaj village died on Tuesday evening after he was bitten by a snake at home. Sanjay was sleeping in his house when the snake bit him. The boy was rushed to a hospital in Khambhat but died before admission.

Khambhat rural police has registered a case of accidental death yesterday.

In another incident at Mangkura village of Ankhada taluka, Kilila R Padiyar was bit by a snake while she was trying to remove dry cowdung cakes. She was rushed to Mission hospital at Borsad, where she died during treatment.

Anand police has registered a case of accidental death.
