TN, Pondy ink transport pact

Puducherry, Aug 9 (UNI) Tamil Nadu and Puducherry today signed an inter-state transport agreement here.

According to official sources,the agreement would help regulate movement of buses, trucks and load carriers in both the states and streamline the tax structure.

The Tamil Nadu side was led by Transport Minister K N Nehru while his Puducherry counterpart M O H F Shajahan led a team of officials.
