Theft outside North Block being investigated

New Delhi, Aug 9 (UNI) The government is investigating a theft from the office of Home Ministry employees' society outside the main building premises of the North Block.

A ministry spokesman said here today that according to a report received, an amount of about Rs 9,000 belonging to the co-operative society of some MHA employees was stolen last weekend from the office of the society located outside the main building premises of the North Block.

The matter is under investigation, he added.
