Sweltering heat and humidity return after days of rain

Patna, Aug 9 (UNI) After experiencing cooler weather due to occasional rainfall since the last few days, sweltering heat returned to the city once again today.

Met officials here informed that the day's maximum temperature was recorded at 35 degree Celsius and the minimum at 28 degrees Celsius, while the maximum relative humidity remained considerably high at 65 per cent.

The sky is likely to remain overcast during the next 24 hours with the possibility of rain or thundershowers in some areas, sources added.
