SBI Card launches Platinum card in Kolkata

Kolkata, Aug 9: SBI Card, a joint venture between SCI and GE Money, has launched SBI Platinum Card in Kolkata today, in association with Visa International.

The key advantage of the SBI Platinum Card are International and domestic travel benefits, including concierge services, waiver of 3.5 per cent surcharge on spends made abroad in foreign currencies.

Besides exclusive privileges across leading airlines and hotels, privileges in restaurants and spas, travel insurance, access to golf courses across the globe, waiver of 2.5 per cent surcharge on fuel purchases in Kolkata, one reward point for every Rs 40 spent on fuel purchase and cash withdrawl, SBI release said.

The SBI Platinum Card offers these exclusive benefits free with no joining fees or annual fees.

SBI Card has also launched SBI Gold and More Card in MasterCard Worldwide.

The SBI Gold and More Card offers assured two per cent cash back on any purchase at departmental stores, groceries, restaurants, utility bill payments and waiver of 2.5 per cent surcharge on fuel purchase in Kolkata.
