Sanjay Dutt starrer 'Dhamaal' has no heroines

Mumbai, Aug 9 (UNI) Indra Kumar's upcoming comedy flick'Dhamaal' which stars jailed actor Sanjay Dutt, has no heroines.

'Dhamaal' was the only film which Dutt had completed working for and it was ready for release when he was sentenced to six years RI in the Mumbai bomb blasts case on July 31.

The film will release on September seven.

Interestingly, director Indra Kumar and producer Ashok Thakeria known for their blockbuster films like 'Dil', 'Beta' featured Madhuri Dixit and 'Ishq' had Juhi Chawla and Kajol.

'Dhamaal' has a starcast that is all male -- Sanjay Dutt, Ritesh Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Aashish Chowdhury and Javed Jaffrey. All five are thrown into hilarious situations that will have the audience in laughter due to the chaos and misunderstandings, Indra Kumar told reporters here.

To a question on whether the lack of female actors posed a threat to the film's box office collections, Indra Kumar said ''No. I didn't feel a need for any heroines in the film. As for taking a risk well I feel it might set a trend for other future films. The script is so strong that when you will see the film, you will understand there was no need of heroines between such funny male bonding.'' UNI
