Sangam India's order book at Rs 135 cr
New Delhi, Aug 9: Textile firm Sangam India Ltd today said its order book stood at Rs 135 crore as on July 31, including export orders worth Rs 65 crore and the firm aims 25 per cent revenue from high value-added items like summer suits fabrics and technical textile during the current fiscal.
It is also launching its new high value-added fabric collection under the name ''Hanery Parker'' and ''High Flyers'' under the Sangam Brand umbrella, targetting the high-end premium customer for suit length and trousers.
The company, having a strong presence in the country's synthetic blended fabric segment through its existing brands 'Sangam' and 'Anmol', has tied up with an Italian designer for the launch of these collections.
The company received an overwhelming response of new launching at its recent dealers' meet and booked orders worth Rs five crore for the new collection, said a statement.
Promoted by first-generation entrepreneurs R P Soni and S N Modani, Sangam India is one of the largest manufacturers of polyester dyed yarn in the country.
At present, the firm has 100,320 spindles of polyester-viscose dyed yarn and 31,200 spindle on Cotton Yarn installed in Bhilwara along with 237 weaving machines and a 10 MW thermal power plant.
