Quit India anniversary in Puducherry
Puducherry, Aug 9: Floral tributes were paid to freedom fighters here on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of Quit India Movement today.
Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy, his Cabinet colleagues, PCC President P Shanmugham and MLAs were among those who paid tributes to the portraits of freedom fighters at the PCC office.
In his address, Mr Shanmugham called upon the Congress members to shed differences and remain united.
