New PIB Deputy Director General

Chennai, Aug 9 (UNI) Mr K Ganesan, Additional Director General (News), All India Radio, today assumed charge as Deputy Director General (Media and Communication) of the Press Information Bureau (PIB), Southern Region, Chennai.

Mr Ganesan, who belonged to the 1981 batch civil services, succeeded Mr T Jayaraj, who had been transferred to Delhi as Additional Director General (News), All India Radio.

He had served in various capacities of other directorates of Information and Broadcasting Ministry like Directorate of Field Publicity, Publications Division, AIR and Doordarshan, a PIB release here said.
