Marshall University-Bhavan MBA degree awarded

Bangalore, Aug 9 (UNI) As many as 52 students of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and Marshall University, United States, were conferred degrees at the third annual convocation of the Bhavan-Marshall MBA programme here today.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Chandra Akkihal, Director, Bhavan-Marshall MBA programme, informed that over 125 candidates have been declared graduates since the last three years.

He said best professors from various universities in the United States were roped in for the programme to impart education along with values to the students. The MBA programme had become popular as more than 600 students had applied for the available 50 seats this year.

Delivering her convocation address, Ms Vani Kola, Managing Partner, Indo-US Venture, exhorted the students to pursue studies continuously as 'no success is absolute''. She also advised the young graduates to make purposeful career choices.

Dr Leonard J Deutsch, Dean, Graduate School, Marshall University, distributed the degree certificates. Some students were honoured for their outstanding performances.
