Man drowns in Dadr river; search on for another person

Vadodara (Gujarat), Aug 9 (UNI) A 55 year old man drowned in Dadr river passing through Katheswar village in the Sankheda taluka today.

Chimanbhai Lalubhai Tadvi accidentally slipped from the river bank into the overflowing river. His body has been recovered.

In another incident a man is feared to be dead when he fell into the Timbi talav at Tavara village, 22 kms from here, in Baghodia taluka. Fire brigade personnel have rushed to the spot and search is on for the unidentified person.
