Let PM contest election to Lok Sabha: Naidu

Tirupati, Aug 9: TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu today said Prime Minister Manmohan Singh should seek public mandate by contesting election directly to the Lok Sabha.

Addressing a press conference here, Mr Naidu said, ''The Prime Minister should be a people's representative. He should contest the elections directly rather than getting elected to Rajya Sabha.'' He said he was firm about his statement and would not change his stand.
