Jharkhand Governor commemorates freedom struggle martyrs

Ranchi, Aug 9 (UNI) Commemorating the sacrifice of martyrs in the Indian freedom struggle Jharkhand Governor Syed Sibte Razi today said eradication of social evils would be real tribute to them.

Speaking at a programme organised at Rajbhawan here, Mr Razi said number of people had lost their lives during freedom struggle to build the nation according to their dreams but social evils like castism still prevailed.

Mr Razi said people should now come out of these social evils as India is a developing country and developed countries like America were having amicable relation with us.

The governor also urged to follow the principles of Mahatma Gandhi.
