HM militant killed in South Kashmir

Srinagar, Aug 9: Security forces and Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir Police killed a Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) militant in south Kashmir today.

A Police Spokesman said security forces and the SOG launched a joint operation in a village at Kulgam in south Kashmir today.

During the operation, an encounter took place in which a HM militant was killed.

An AK rifle and other arms and ammunition were recovered from the slain militant.
