Gujarat minister injured in road accident

Ahmedabad, Aug 9 (UNI) Gujarat Finance Minister Vajubhai Vala was injured when the car in which he was travelling, overturned at Atkot, 50 km from Rajkot.

According to reports from Rajkot, Mr Vala was returning after attending a tree plantation programme at Jasdan when the accident occurred around 1230 hrs.

Police said Mr Vala's car skidded off the road and bumped into a tree before overturning. He has been shifted to Madhuram Hospital in Rajkot, a police official told UNI
