Ex-MP gets one-year term for issuing life threats to journalist
Chitrakoot, Aug 9 (UNI) A court today pronounced one-year imprisonment to former MP Ram Sajivan for 'issuing life threats' to a local mediaperson.
According to the prosecution, on December 6, 2000, Vivek Agarwal had registered a complaint at the Karwi police station against Mr Sajivan for 'issuing life threats.' Hearing the case, Chief Judicial Magistrate Anand Prakash convicted the MP, besides slapping a penalty of Rs 1,000.
