Doctors on strike as gangwars erupt in hospital
Kota, Aug 9 (UNI) Resident doctors of MBS hospital here have struck work today in protest against inadequate security measures at the hospital as a gangwar erupted in hospital's emergency ward last night.
The security in the hospital has been beefed up after one of the seriously injured gang members Rajendra Tanka died in the hospital today.
According to police, two gangs fought with each other with knives and pistols in city's Shivpuri area. Two of the gang members, who were seriously injured in the clash, were admitted to MBS Hospital where other gang members clashed again.
One of the criminals fired shots in the hospital creating panic among patients. The police has arrested two of the criminals Nitesh and Wasim. A search is on for the other criminals.
Meanwhile, Resident doctors went on strike today protesting the attacks and blaming inadequate security for the doctors. The doctors said there have been many such attacks earlier also.
