Convict attacks his jail mates

Mysore, Aug 9 (UNI) A convict serving life sentence allegedly attacked his jail mates in Mysore Central Jail here today.

Jail Superintendent Vishwanathaia said that Suban, a lifer sharing the cell with Alvin and Mahadeva, started quarreling over a pretty issue and beat both of them with wooden piece.

Both of them were treated by jail doctors and kept in separate cells.

A case has been registered against Suban.
