Gulbarga, Aug 9 (UNI) Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly N Dharam Singh today predicted that Congress would form the Government in Karnataka with the support of a large number of JD(S) and BJP MLAs, who are dissatisfied with their party leaders and policies.

Talking to newspersons here, Mr Dharam Singh said the Congress is ready to form the Government to remove political uncertainity in the State.

''There is no surprise, if the present coalition Government falls before the transfer of power from JD (S) to BJP because of dissension between the two parties.'' he added.

Reiterating that JD(S) would not hand-over power to BJP in October, Mr Dharam said ''it will remain a dream for BJP to regain power from JD(S).

When asked about the possibility of the Congress forming a Government in the State, he said ''nothing is impossible in politics.'' Mr Dharam said there was no question of joining hands with JD(S) once again in forming the government and there was no such proposal at the moment.

In Belgaum, Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee(KPCC) president Mallikarjun Kharge ruled out joining hands with JD(S) in the formation of the Government in the State.

The final decision would be left to the party High Command, if such a proposal emerges before the party, he added.
