Bawaria gang kingpin among 3 held

Etawah, Aug 9 (UNI) The Special Operation Group (SOG) of Uttar Pradesh Police arrested three wanted members of the notorious inter-state Bawaria gang, including its kingpin, after an encounter in Ekdil area here.

Police today said on being tipped-off, the SOG team reached near Sundarpur Bagia and nabbed the infamous gang kingpin Jalim alias Ajay, his aides Rajesh and Gulzari Lal late last night.

One kg charas and a large number of weapons were seized from their possession.

On interrogation, the accused confessed of being involved in several loot incidents in UP, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.

A hunt to nab other gang members was on.
