Allotment schedule for Eng, Medical courses announced

Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 9 (UNI) The allotment schedule for Engineering and Medical courses in Kerala was announced today and candidates could register their options.

The candidates could register their options from August 16 to August 30, State Education Minister M A Baby said, while announcing the revised schedule.

The students would be admitted in government and management seats on the fees decided by the P A Mohammed committee and a final decision on fees structure could be known only after the state High Court's decision.

As such the students should have to give an affidavit that they would pay more if there was an increase. On the other hand, if the fee was reduced, the management would repay the students, the difference in the fee, Mr Baby said.

The admissions would be conducted in two phases. The first phase of allotment would start from September one and admissions would be held from September 10 to 12.

The classes would commence from September 13, he said.

The second phase of allotment would start from September seven and the final phase of admission would be on September 24 and 25.
