Accountant and accomplice arrested for swindling Rs five lakh

West Midnapore, Aug 9 (UNI) An accountant of the World Bank Project was today arrested for illegal withdrawal of money from a nationalised bank to the tune of Rs five lakhs.

Chief Medical Officer of West Midnapore Kamal Kumar Bose said Sidhartya Das made several fake signatures and withdrew Rs five lakh and kept the money in his friend Sakil Ahmedh's account.

Police said both of them were arrested and investigation was on.
