4th HC notice to CM in controversial land case
Jaipur, Aug 9 (UNI) A bench of Rajasthan High Court today directed that a fourth notice be sent to Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, who chaired the controversial Deen Dayal Upadhaya Trust, which was alloted prime land here at a throwaway price.
The High Court bench, comprising Chief Justice J M Panchal and Justice Mohammad Rafique, gave the notice in response to a PIL filed by advocate Sushil Kumar Sharma.
Arguing on the case, advocates Lokesh Sharma and Laxmikant Sharma, said the High Court has already sent three notices but there have been no replies. Hence, this time the notice would be sent through registered post, so that the notice is accepted.
Although the prime land allotted to the Deen Dayal Upadhyay Trust has been cancelled, yet the hearing is continuing on the PIL filed against it.
