3 killed, 30 hurt as bus falls into ditch

Bijapur, Karnataka, Aug 9 (UNI) Three passengers of a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus were killed on the spot and 30 injured when the vehicle fell into a 40-foot ditch near Minajagi,90 km from here, today.

Police said the deceased included driver of the bus bound for Talikot from Minijagi.

The deceased were identified as Driver K M Birdar (30), Rudrakappa Chalawadi (45) of Honnalli and Kareppa Malabadi (48) of Kuchanur.
