3 held for cable theft

Kancheepuram, Aug 9 (UNI) Three persons were arrested for stealing cables from a container lorry parked inside a car company at Sriperumbudur near here.

Police said Muchandi (40), Ramesh (35) and Anandan (35) were caught by the company's securitymen when they attempted to steal Rs 10,000 worth cable. The trio were later arrested.
