Train mows down two kids

Malappuram, Aug 8 (UNI) Two school children were crushed to death when they were hit by a speeding train at Chiramangalam in the distict today.

Police said the accident took place when the children, crossing the railway track, were hit by Kannur-bound Intercity Express from Ernakulam killing them instantaneously.

The deceased were identified as Bulhanuddin and Zahir, fifth standard students of Chiramangalam Aided Upper Primary School in the district.
