'Star Luminary' wins Governor's Cup

Bangalore, Aug 8 (UNI) 'Star Luminary' ably ridden by B Prakash easily won the Governor's Cup (Gr-III), the main event of the concluding day's races of Bangalore Summer Meeting 2007 held here today.

The winner is owned by Dr M A M Ramaswamy and trained by S Ganapathy.

Trainer Darius Byramji, Jockeys Suraj Narredu and Vincent Colgan scored a double each. Only four favourites obliged punters in a long card of eleven events.
