Idea launches new value added services

New Delhi, Aug 8 (UNI) Targeting youths, Aditya Birla-owned company Idea today launched a slew of value-added services including Active Radio, receive and send voice messages, send colour SMS and others.

The newly launched services also include facilities to copy a dial tone of any other user, listen to music of choice, watch live television and conduct search on Yahoo.

''Aiming large youth population, we are introducing next range of value-added services,'' company's Chief Marketing Officer Pradeep Shrivastava told reporters here.

Idea subscribers can now listen to music of their choice anywhere and on any handset with Active Radio and the colour SMS will help user send text messages in colour.

In addition, Idea TV offers a multi-channel, live and demand mobile television experience with over 20 channels.

For General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) subscribers, the company along with Yahoo offers the first search engine on the mobile platform in India with Idea Yahoo One Search.

UNI
