FAO Director General calls on Barnala

Chennai, Aug 8: Jacques Diouf, Director General of Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) of the United Nations called on Tamil Nadu Governor S S Barnala here today.

A Press release from Raj Bhavan said M S Swaminathan, MP and Chairman M S Swaminathan Research Foundation and Daniel Gustafson, FAO Representative, were among others present on the occasion.

The Governor also hosted a dinner to honour Dr Jacques.
