Counterfeit notes seized

Morena, MP, Aug 8 (UNI) Police have seized counterfeit currency notes worth Rs 35,800 today from the box of a motorcycle at Vanmore industrial area in this district.

''Police had received a tip-off that Naya village-resident Hakim Singh Narbaria was moving in the market with the intention to use counterfeit currency notes. When police chased him, Hakim left the motorcycle and fled,''Sub-Divisional Officer of Police (SDOP) Rajesh Mishra said.

Police were searching the accused.
