AMR Constructions announces expansion plans

Hyderabad, Aug 8 (UNI) The city-based AMR Constructions Limited (AMRCL), one of the growing players in construction industry with core competence in Mining and Excavation has announced its expansion plans in Indonesia for coal exploration to export it to India and China.

Addressing a gathering after receiving ISO 9001-2000 certification for its financial accounting and Internal controls from AQA International LLC (US) late last night, the company's Chief Financial Officer V Surya Sastry said the company had taken some land on lease in Indonesia to implement its plans.

The company planned to enter Middle East for mining for cement companies, he added.

AMRCL, started in 1992 as a partnership company, was converted into a Public Limited company in 2001. It had over 750 employees at its offices in Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai, Tuni, Tandur and other places.
