TN: Two buried as temple wall caves in

Chennai, Aug 7: Two people, engaged in construction of a temple wall, were killed and six others injured when a portion of the wall collapsed on them at Perumbakkam riverbed in Tiruvannamalai district of Tamil Nadu last night, police said today.

The police said the victims were engaged in construction of the wall at Goddess Kaliamman temple when the incident occurred, burying two people on the spot.

The deceased were identified as Kutti, alias Ezhumalai (27), and Iyyanar (30).

The injured were admitted to the Tiruvannamalai General Hospital.
