Thai princess to watch Thai Ramayana performance in New Delhi
Bangkok, Aug 7 (UNI) Thailand's Princess Mahachakri Sirindhorn will leave for New Delhi tomorrow for a day-long visit to witness Thai cultural celebrations marking 60 years of India-Thailand ties.
On August 9, the princess will preside over a preview of the Ramakien, the traditional Thai version of the Ramayana, to be performed by Thai artists at the Siri Fort Auditorium.
She will also play a traditional Thai musical instrument at the venue.
The Ramakien performance will be open for public viewing on August 10.
Earlier in the day, the princess will open an exhibition of photographs taken by her during her several visits to India over the years. The exhibition venue is the Museum of Modern Art.
The Thai Embassy in New Delhi is organising the events.
