Skoda opens new dealership in B'lore

Bangalore, Aug 7 (UNI) Enhancing its presence in South India Skoda India, a fully owned subsidiary of SkodaAuto, today announced the formal appointment of Vinayak Cars Pvt Ltd as its new dealership in Bangalore.

With this, Skoda India now has a well entrenched network of 51 dealerships in metros and towns across India and plans to take the number to 58 by end of this year, the company said in a release here.

Spread across an area of 2800 sqft, the showroom would offer all 13 models available in India.

Skoda India was on a major expansion mode to increase the dealerships across the country. The company aimed to sell as many as 120 cars in the city a month.

The company recently opened dealerships in Northern and Western parts of India including Jaipur, Gurgaon, Jammu, Ahmedabad and Baroda.

Skoda's Indian operations would soon complete six years. The company had sold over 44,000 units since inception.
