KAMA congratulates President Pratibha Patil

Imphal, Aug 7 (UNI) The Kabui Mothers' Association (KAMA) in Manipur has congratulated President Pratibha Patil on being the country's first woman president.

KAMA president Lu Kakaomlunglu recalled the unique global changes after the 1975 International Women Liberation Year in Mexico and stated that it was a historic moment for the country to have a woman as its President.

The KAMA hoped that Ms Patil will graciously be remembered throughout the nation.
