JVM joins Jharkhand Front; vows to strengthen Front
Jamshedpur, Aug 7 (UNI) Newly-formed Jharkhand Front today received a shot in the arms with the joining of the Babulal Marandi-led Jharkhand Vikas Morcha(Democratic) at the Front's convention here.
The JVM's entry into the Front had increased the number of parites to four.
The Jharkhand People's Party (JPP), Horo and Naren factions of the Jharkhand Party (JP) were the other constituents.
Front convenor Surya Singh Besra announced that JVM candidate for the August 29 Jamshedpur Parliamentary byelection Bikash Mukherjee would be the Front's candidate.
Earlier, the Front had announced Ganesh Tudu as the JP(Horo) candidate but after the formal announcement of the JVM to join the alliance, the leaders of the Front decided to withdraw the name of Mr Tudu.
After his announcement to join the Front, Mr Marandi said the Front would fight to wipe out ''Bhai, Bhukh, Bhrashtrachar'' from the state and the combine sans the UPA and NDA would usher in a new dawn for the state.
