Haryana Govt to develop 71 villages as model villages
Hisar, Aug 7 (UNI) In order to provide modern facilities in rural areas of the state, as many as 71 villages have been chosen for developing as model villages .
This was stated by Member of Parliament Deepender Singh Hooda today, while addressing a public gathering after laying the foundation stone of the model village Balsmand.
He said that for developing as model village, 140 streets of Balsmand village would be relaid with a cost of Rs 5.50 crore. In additional to it, an ITI would be setup at the village at a cost of Rs 8.70 crore.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Parliamentary Secretary Dharmbir Singh said that the problem of unemployment would be solved with development of SEZs in the rural areas of the state.
To deal with drinking water scaracity, link canals were being constructed in the state, he said.
