Govt employee charged for passing documents to Pak man
New Delhi, Aug 7 (UNI) A Delhi court today framed charges against an employee of a division of the Defence Ministry, who was caught red-handed passing some classified documents to a Pakistan High Commission staffer.
The accused, Anil Kumar Dubey posted in the AGI Directorate under the Ministry of Defence, was caught on October 30, last year while passing on information about the anti-insurgency operations being conducted by the 15 Corps, to one Mohammad Farooq, an employee of the Pakistan High Commission here.
Charges were framed against him under the Section 31 C of the Official Secrets Act and Section 120 of the Indian Penal Code by judge Pratibharani.
His application for bail was also rejected by the court.
