Girl succumbs to injuries sustained from tree-fall

Anand, Aug 7 (UNI) A 15-year-old girl, who had fallen from a tree on July 18 and was seriously injured, died yesterday at the civil hospital in Ahmedabad.

The girl, Lakshmi Chandu Parmar, had climbed a tree to cut leaves for her cattle at Sarol village of Borsad taluka, 35 km from here. She slipped and fell, in which she was injured seriously.

Lakshmi was taken to Vadodara for treatment, from where she was later shifted to civil hospital at Ahmedabad in a serious condition.

Bhadran police has registered a case of accidental death.
