Centre not giving due financial assistance: CM

Palakkad, Aug 7 (UNI) Kerala Chief Minister V S Achutanandan today lashed out at the Centre for not giving the due financial assistance to the state despite collecting maximum tax from the state.

The entire modernisation of the check post would be completed in three years.

Apart from facilitating daily report of collections to the state headquarters, a police team was posted at the check post to deal with any atrocities.
