52-year-old woman run over by train in Anand

Anand, Aug 7 (UNI) A 52-year-old woman was today run over by a Memu train while crossing the railway line at Ameena Manzil area here.

The woman, Sufiyabanu Ghanibhai Vora, was crossing the railway tracks and saw the Memu train approaching this morning at around 0700 hrs. Thinking that she had enough time to cross the railway track, she took a risk. The speeding train hit her, killing her on the spot.

Anand railway police has registered a case of accidental death.
