Silver, gold close firm: Bombay Bullion Assn

Mumbai, Aug 6: Precious metals looked up today on reduced stock supply, in the closing session, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said.

Following are the closing rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 18,060 (18,005), Gold (per 10 gm) Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 8,850 (8,825) Gold 99.9 purity pure Gold : Rs 8,900 (8,875).
