Karnataka Assembly passes five bills by voice vote
Bangalore, Aug 6 (UNI) Karnataka Legislative Assembly today passed five bills by voice vote including teh Karnataka State Civil Services (Regulation on Transfer of Teachers) Bill.
The bill, among others, aimed to regulate transfer of teachers to ensure that their services were made to available in government schools and pre university colleges in rural areas. The Bill was tabled in the house by Primary and Secondary Education Minister Basavaraj S Horatti.
The other bills passed by the house were the Karantaka High Court and other legislations (Amendment) Bill, Karnataka Entertainments Tax (Amendment) Bill, The Karnataka Excise (Amendment) Bill and the Karnataka State Universities (Amendment) Bill.
