Hiroshima day observed in Manipur

Imphal, Aug 6: The 62nd anniversary of the atomic bombing by the US in Hiroshima was observed here today.

The programme was organised by Indo-Japan Friendship Association, Manipur.

Speaker of Manipur Legislative Assembly Dr S Buddhichandra, former minister Dr M Nara and other leaders attended the function which was organised in memory of more than 2.5 lakh people who lost their lives in the atomic bombing.
