Embedded design contest by Freescale
Bangalore, Aug 6: An embedded design contest is organised by Freescale Semiconductor for engineering students and embedded developers in India. The contest begun on August 1.The participants must create innovative prototypes using Freescale's 8-bit HCS08 8/16-pin microcontroller (MCU).
To compete in the design challenge, participants must submit their design prototypes complete with schematics and software developed with CodeWarriorTM tools, along with a working, board-level demonstration of the product by October 31, 2007.
Participants may submit more than one entry. The award-winning entries will be announced at the Freescale Technology Forum (FTF) India at Bangalore on November 19-20, 2007.
To register for the competition and get a starter development kit, participants must send a cheque of Rs.1000, made out to Ammos Software Technologies Pvt. Ltd. along with the address and phone number of the person to whom the kit needs to be couriered to:
