Court permits narco-analysis test on accused

Hyderabad, Aug 6 (UNI) A city court today permitted the Special Investigation Team (SIT) to conduct narco-analysis test on one of the accused in the task force office blast to confirm his involvement in Mecca Masjid bomb blast on May 18 in the city.

The third Additional Metropolitan Magistrate accepted SIT's request to conduct narco test on Kaleem, alias Arshad, who was arrested in connection with the task force office blast case.

The accused would be taken to Bangalore, where the test would be conducted, in one or two days.

On October 12, the backpack bomber walked into the task force office and blew himself up, resulting in the death of home guard Satyanarayana. A sentry police constable also received injuries. The task force building was totally damaged in the incident.
