Bihar: Abducted boy's body recovered

Patna, Aug 6: The body of an abducted boy was recovered from Indiranagar locality near New Bypass under Kankarbagh police station here today.

Police said the body of Roshan, a student of standard VIII of Patna Central School, was recovered following the information provided by his friends who were arrested in this connection.

The body had been sent for post-mortem at Patna Medical College and Hospital.

Under a well-hatched conspiracy, Roshan's friends had abducted him on August four from Kankarbagh locality because of some personal enmity.

Following a telephone call from his friends, Roshan went to meet them but never returned, police officials here explained.

Later, Roshan's friends demanded ransom from his family members.

A case was registered at Kankarbagh police station and all the four friends had been arrested and were being interrogated in this connection.
