1 lakh cusecs to be released into Mahisagar river

Vadodara, Aug 6 (UNI) The administration is making preparations to release one lakh cusecs of water from Kalana and Panam dams into the Mahisagar river as these dams are expected to overflow in the next 24 hours following heavy rains.

Vadodara district flood control official H R Parmar told UNI that one lakh cusecs would be released in the next 24 hours as the water level in the two dams has already reached to the brim.
