Two spos killed in Doda Encounter

Jammu, Aug 5 (UNI) Two special police officers (SPOS) were killed in an ongoing encounter between security forces and militants at high reaches of doda district, official sources said.

Acting on tip-off about presence of militants at Bulandpura in Marmut area the security forces launched an operation this morning.

The fierce gunbattle between militants and security forces was still on when last report came in.

In an encounter, one more spo lost his life. Spo rajinder kumar was killed in moring during encounter, sources said.

A joint team of rashtriya rifles and state police had kept the militants engaged till the last reports came in.
